- Twin earthquakes measuring 7.2 and 7.5 magnitude struck Venezuela on Wednesday, killing at least 1,430 people and leaving 3,238 injured while displacing 3,142 families from their homes.
- The 41-member Indian Army Field Hospital contingent includes nine medical officers equipped for trauma management and life-saving surgery, alongside two indigenous BHISHM Cubes capable of treating up to 200 patients.
- Completing a 23-hour flight from Delhi to Caracas covering over 14,000 km, the Indian Air Force C-17s demonstrated India's capability to deliver rapid humanitarian assistance across continents.
- Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the mission reflects India's enduring commitment to disaster relief, with the Ministry of External Affairs stating, "India stands shoulder to shoulder with the government and the people of Venezuela during this difficult period.
