India says it is not involved with Bangladesh ex-PM Hasina's virtual address

- Dhaka has requested the extradition of Hasina and Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, and earlier, India noted that the request remains "under examination" given the legal processes involved.
- Following her resignation, the International Crimes Tribunal sentenced Hasina to death, with charges tied to a state crackdown on 2024 student-led demonstrations that led to the fall of her Awami League government.
- Hasina announced earlier that she intends to return to Bangladesh voluntarily around December, despite facing the prospect of arrest or death upon arrival after fleeing India in August 2024 following massive student-led protests.
