New Zealand finally wins a toss and decides to bowl in the 5th T20 against India
On Sunday, New Zealand captain Mitchell Santner won the toss and elected to bowl first against India in the 5th T20I at Seddon Park, Hamilton.
India secured the series victory by winning the first three matches, though New Zealand claimed the fourth T20I by 81 runs to keep the final encounter alive.
Recalling pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Varun Chakaravarthy, India adjusted their lineup for the final match. New Zealand brought in Blair Tickner to replace Matthew Fisher.
Both teams aim to conclude this series on a high note, with New Zealand seeking to build momentum after their recent 81-run victory.
Coach Langer previously explained that an "aggressive personality" makes bowlers like Shoaib Akhtar feel "quicker than others," a principle reflecting the intense focus required at this level.
