Dubuque City Manager Mike Van Milligen is recommending another round of sharp increases in utility fees for the coming fiscal year, a plan that would raise bills for the average residential customer by almost $10 per month.

The Municipal Executive authorized this Friday a new increase in bus fares in Concordia, the first of 2025, in line with Ordinance No. 38.3721 of 2024, which authorizes the DEM, through the Cabinet and Finance Coordination Secretariat, to update fare prices quarterly. According to DIARIOJUNIO, the new fare schedule will take effect on April 1st of this year, when it is updated in the SUBE system and impacts the fare machines.
