Halle. There is a shortage of lawyers in Saxony-Anhalt. The number of lawyers is falling significantly. In 2016, there were 1,757 established lawyers throughout the country, currently around 1,400. "The shortage is mainly in rural regions," said Christian Lisec, Managing Director of the Saxony-Anhalt Bar Association, the Mitteldeutsche Zeitung (Saturday edition), which appears in Halle.
