Following two days of heavy rainfall in Istanbul, a stream overflowed in the Ahmetli neighborhood of Şile. The lower floors of some buildings and household items were submerged, and a bridge suffered extensive damage. A resident, Ömer Gönen, stated that they fled their building at 2:00 AM after the lower floor was flooded with approximately 2.5 meters of water.
