Imported drugs increased more than the dollar in the first quarter of 2025

According to the Ministry of Health, drug prices have slowed in the last three months, stating that those produced in the country have risen less than import ones and that high-cost health products have increased from 1.9 per cent in January to 1.3 per cent in March.

During the first quarter of 2025, imported drugs rose more than domestic drugs, with an increase of 6.5 per cent compared to 5 per cent of those manufactured in the country.
