IMD issues heavy rain alert for Odisha and Tamil Nadu, Delhi may see light showers
IMD has issued a red warning for extremely heavy rain in parts of Odisha as a fresh low-pressure area forms over the Bay of Bengal. Heavy rain is also forecast in Tamil Nadu, while Delhi may receive light rain.
The Meteorological Department has announced that another low pressure area has formed over the northwest Bay of Bengal and adjacent West Bengal and north Odisha coasts.
