With the monsoon active in many parts of the country, heavy rains will continue for the next several days. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert from Delhi to Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Odisha. Hundreds of roads are closed in Himachal Pradesh, while a new low pressure is forming in the Bay of Bengal. This could further increase rainfall in eastern and central India.

The intensity of rainfall has decreased in the northern districts compared with yesterday. The state is not expected to receive any rain warning over the next three days.
The weather changed in Shajapur district at around 3 pm on Friday afternoon. There was heavy and drizzling rain in many parts of the district. Around 3:30pm heavy rain was recorded in some areas, which made the weather cold and people got relief from the heat and humidity. Intermittent rain continued in the district from Sunday to Friday.
