CHICAGO, Ill. (WTVO) — Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker has issued a disaster declaration for areas of Boone County affected by August's severe storms. Both state and federal crews were out surveying the damage in late August, after severe straight line winds caused widespread damage across the community on August 16th.
