The interim President Ilie Bolojan said on Wednesday after the CSAT meeting that he hoped that in June the entire package of laws that would bring the defence legislation into force and allow the Romanian Army to prepare themselves properly.

Acting President Ilie Bolojan announced, after the CSAT meeting, several strategic decisions regarding the strengthening of Romania's defense capabilities. Until 2030, Romania will gradually increase its defense budget, in line with its commitments to European partners and NATO. The Minister of Defense will support this increase in the preparatory negotiations for the NATO summit in The Hague.
