The soldier was taken to a hospital for medical treatment and his family was informed. The IDF spokesman also informed us in a statement that in several additional incidents, interceptors were launched at rockets and suspected aerial targets in the area where IDF forces operate in southern Lebanon, and that as a result, two more soldiers were slightly injured.
An Israeli soldier was “seriously injured” in southern Lebanon “as a result of a drone strike with explosives,” the Israel Defense Forces announced.
