Identify genes for depression in all ethnic groups

For the first time, new genetic risk factors for depression have been identified in the world’s major populations, allowing scientists to predict the risk of depression, regardless of ethnicity. Researchers from the UGR have participated in this international work. This is the largest and most diverse genetic study on depression. Research has revealed nearly 300 genetic links to this disease unknown to date.
