Heddy Reynaud, a 26-year-old LGBTQIA+ activist from Nice, had been assaulted in February after a homophobic lookout in Nice. On 7 February 2025, in the middle of the afternoon, the young man, who was also administrator of the LGBTQIA+ Côte d'Azur centre, was trapped by two individuals.
