Women’s soccer takes first season loss to Rhode Island

Northeastern’s women’s soccer (0-1-1, 0-0 CAA) fell in its second game this season to the University of Rhode Island Rams (3-0, 0-0 A10) 1-0 Aug. 21.  The Rams took the lead early as sophomore forward Kaia Rice scored her first goal of the season a little over 90 seconds into the game.  The Huskies had opportunities to even the scoreboard, taking six shots, but none were able to find the back of the net.
