Despite its public advocacy of non-proliferation, China is rapidly expanding its nuclear weapons program at at least seven sites across the country, the Telegraph reports. The test sites where nuclear weapons are built and tested are located underground, in remote mountains and abandoned villages, and on ruined farms. Entire housing estates with all the necessary infrastructure have also been built next to the factories.
