Diesel and Gas Prices Go Up
It costs a little more to fill up at the pump today. The price of gas jumped by over seven cents. A liter of gasoline in the eastern mainland now ranges between $1.77.9 and $1.80.8. In Cape Breton, it’s $1.78.7 and $1.81.6. The price of diesel also went up, and now sits between $1.96.1 and $1.99 on the eastern mainland, and $1.96.9 and $1.99.8 in Cape Breton.
Fuel Prices Drop Overnight
Fuel prices are down slightly across the board this morning. Gas is down by a cent. Diesel on the island is down by 2.5 cents and in Labrador its down by over 3.5 cents. Furnace oil has dropped by over 2 cents, stove oil in Labrador has dipped by close on three-and-a-half cents, and proane is down by less than a cent.
