Lithuanian MP owns drone company shares but rejects conflict of interest suspicions
The chairman of Lithuania’s parliamentary National Security and Defense Committee, Giedrimas Jeglinskas, said Wednesday he sees no conflict of interest stemming from his investment in a company that develops drone technology.
Giedrimas Jeglinskas, the chairman of the Seimas National Security and Defense Committee (NSGK), who has held shares in a company that produces drones and other systems since last year, says he does not confuse public and private interests, has not been involved in the company's activities since the beginning of his work in the Seimas, and has never discussed acquisitions with officials of the national defense system.
