How bacteria use a protein associated with Alzheimer's to fight off threats

UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO BOULDER, JUL 29 – Researchers found that about one-third of bacterial strains resist predatory bacteria using amyloid proteins that also help form protective biofilms on medical and industrial surfaces.
