‘House of David’ to End with Season 3 as Biblical Drama Enters Final Chapter
Wonder Project and Amazon MGM Studios say the 10-episode final season will complete David’s journey from exile to throne.
- On Friday, Amazon MGM Studios and Wonder Project announced that the biblical epic series House of David will conclude with its upcoming third season. Production is currently underway in Greece.
- Executive producers Jon Erwin and Jon Gunn envisioned the story as a three-season arc from the beginning, describing Season 3 as the final chapter of the trilogy they set out to tell.
- Michael Iskander returns as David, facing exile as a hunted outlaw in the final chapter. The season explores the personal costs of his transformation, including betrayals and sacrifices before claiming the throne.
- "I've grown alongside this character," Iskander said of the final season's significance. The ensemble cast also features Ali Suliman as King Saul and Ayelet Zurer as Queen Ahinoam.
- The series is produced in association with Nomadic Pictures, Argonauts, Kingdom Story Company, and Lionsgate Television. Previous seasons remain available on Prime Video or via the Wonder Project subscription.
