House fire, two people unable to contact Fukuoka, Yukuhashi (Kyodo News)

At around 1:00 a.m. on the 16th, a passerby called 119 in Motonaga, Yukuhashi City, Fukuoka Prefecture, reporting that a house was on fire. According to the Yukuhashi Police Station, a two-story wooden house caught fire and was put out about three and a half hours later. The mother and son who lived in the house, a woman in her 80s and a man in his 50s, have not been able to be contacted. The police station is investigating the cause of the fire.
