A Honduras man allegedly in the country illegally was arrested in Wiscasset on Friday. Wiscasset police say after the chase came to an end, the suspect climbed 20 to 30 feet up a tree to evade capture. Later, he hid out for hours at a construction site before he was arrested.

On March 7, at approximately 12:40 p.m., Wiscasset Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Bath Road in Wiscasset.
