History Lives: Cross Keys Tavern

The Cross Keys Tavern, located north of Doylestown at Easton and Swamp roads, was first licensed in 1758 to Alexander Brown. It began as a stagecoach stop, later becoming a trolley stop on the Philadelphia & Easton Electric Railway.
