CANTON, Ohio - The Malone University baseball team split their final two games in a series with West Liberty University on Saturday. The Hilltoppers (1-7) were victorious 12-2 in game one, but the Pioneers (7-1) were able to rebound with an 8-4 triumph in the final contest of the weekend.

CANTON, Ohio – West Liberty's baseball team put together one of its most complete performances of the young season in the opener before Malone responded in the nightcap, as the Hilltoppers split Saturday's doubleheader at Thurman Munson Stadium. West Liberty (1-7) rolled to a 12-2 victory in Game 1 before falling 8-4 in Game 2 against the Pioneers (7-1).
