- On July 8, local officials in Palm Beach County will vote on a proposal to rename a four-mile section of South Boulevard in honor of President Donald J. Trump.
- The renaming comes after Governor Ron DeSantis approved legislation earlier this year that instructs Florida’s transportation agency to put up ceremonial signs along the designated roadway, pending approval from local officials.
- If approved, FDOT crews will install two sets of markers by September: one honoring Trump and another naming the 18000 block as PBSO Motorman Highway after three deputies killed in a crash last year.
