High spirits prevail for Berks County Fair opening day, despite rain

Even with rain passing through, the Berks County Fair carried on because, for many, it's a summer tradition worth showing up for, no matter the weather.

Berks County 4-H member shines at state Animal Judging Day

A Berks County youth was among the top finishers at the 2025 Pennsylvania 4-H Animal Judging Day, held recently on Penn State’s University Park campus. Phoebe Stutzman of Berks County helped lead a multicounty team to first place in the senior livestock judging category.
