Ambulance service among best in country for flu jab uptake

SECAmb achieved a 73.7 flu vaccination rate among frontline staff, well above the national average.

South East Coast Ambulance Service is leading the way for NHS flu vaccination rates among frontline staff.

The service, which covers Surrey, Sussex and Kent has a 73 % uptake, which is one of the highest rates recorded nationally. Nationally, the combined total for frontline health care workers for NHS trusts and GP practices was recorded as 37.8%.
