HICKORY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- More than 5,000 gallons of wastewater flowed into a Hickory river Thursday. Hickory city officials reported a discharge of untreated wastewater Sept. 24 of an estimated 5,550 gallons at 2287 First St. SE near Brookford.
