Hezbollah says clashed with Israeli troops who tried to ‘infiltrate’ into Lebanon
Hezbollah reported clashes with Israeli soldiers who attempted to infiltrate into Lebanon. The group stated they targeted Israeli troops across the border.
Hezbollah fighters confronted an Israeli infantry force in the village of Adaysseh, leading to their withdrawal.
The group also targeted an Israeli military presence in Misgav Am and other locations with rockets and artillery.
The Israeli army has reported the first casualties in its own ranks since the start of its ground offensive in Lebanon. Eight soldiers were killed in the fighting between the Israeli army and the Hezbollah militia in southern Lebanon on Wednesday, the army said.
