Here, Money Used to Turn Into Toilet Paper: Unexpected Finds in an Abandoned Factory

Šarūnas Jasiukevičius, the host of the TV6 show “Praeities žvalgas” (Past Explorer), continued his journey around Romania. He showed viewers the abandoned paper factory “Petrocart”, where old, depreciated money was transported during the communist era and processed into toilet paper. The paper factory was opened in 1907. It produced a large part of the country’s school supplies and was the only producer of electrical cardboard in Romania.
