We don’t know her name. We don’t know her age or her pronouns. Does she a family, someone who loves her? Why didn’t anyone check on her? Did she like to dance? Favorite song? Did she suffer? We know she was found deceased in a home on May 21, 2026 in Charlotte, North Carolina. This happened on Catherine Simmons Avenue. Media reports she was AMAB, but wearing unspecified “women’s clothing.” She was not reported as a missing person. How can they know that if they don’t know a name? Her body was in the residence for several days when neighbors reported an unusual odor. That’s it. No medical examiners report yet. No one has come forward to claim her. None of the neighbors are posting about her. In 2025, we reported on the killing of Ervianna ‘Baydee’ Johnsonn and Tiara Love Jackson. From North Carolina, we’ve memorialized these folx. In 2024, Quanesha Shantel. In 2023, KC Johnson. In 2022, Sasha Mason (44) was killed in North Carolina. From 2021, there’s Jenna Franks while both Jaida Peterson and Remy Fennell  were killed that year in Charlotte specifically. In 2020, Monica Diamond was also killed in Charlotte. Half of the documented deaths in a decade took place in one city. What does that say? We don’t know much. But we do know she deserves dignity in her death. She’s not a punchline or a punching bag.
