SCHLADMING, Austria (AP) — Atle Lie McGrath led Henrik Kristoffersen for a Norwegian 1-2 result in the opening run of a World Cup night race on Wednesday, the last slalom before the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics.
Henrik Kristoffersen only just got his first win of the season before the Olympics, his fifth on the Planai course in the prestigious slalom in Schladming. The last slalom in January brought a double Norwegian victory: second place went to Atle Lie McGrath and third place went to Clement Noël.
