Helene anniversary service to be held in Hampton on Saturday morning

A candlelight service will be held at Hampton Elementary School on Saturday morning to observe the anniversary of the Hurricane Helene disaster. The Carter County Long-Term Recovery organization is leading the effort, which will salute the volunteers and first responders and will honor the victims of the tragedy.
