A bike excavator crashed several times over 100 meters above steep terrain in Hopfgarten in Defereggen (Lienz district). The 22-year-old handlebar had driven backwards on a forest road, when the path suddenly broke off sideways, the police reported. The young man was injured in the crash, but was able to leave the driver's cabin and get help.
