- Square Enix announced during the Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase on July 31, 2025, that The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026 with a demo releasing today.
- Alongside this reveal, Square Enix showcased a Switch 2 version of Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven and trailers for Final Fantasy Tactics, planned for December 4, 2025.
- In gameplay, Elliot uses seven weapon types upgradeable with Magicite crystals, and Faie can fight solo or with a second player in co-op mode.
