HCRA paddling: Kawaihae scores 230 in weekend regatta - Hawaii Tribune-Herald

HILO BAY, HAWAII, JUL 8 – Kawaihae Canoe Club leads with 230 points, securing six first-place finishes and dominating youth races among nearly 1,300 paddlers competing in 330 crews.

Kawaihae Canoe Club scored the most points in the fourth regatta of the 2025 HCRA paddling season over the weekend in Hilo Bay, logging 230 to beat second-place division finisher Keaukaha by nearly 30 points. It was the second straight week that Kawaihae was the highest-scoring club overall and in Division AAA, which has 31-44 events per club out of the possible 46.
