 - After being wounded, Crean was stabbed six times, including on his head, back, and arm, and locked himself in a train toilet until armed police arrived about 10 minutes later, then treated by paramedics and discharged at 6am on Sunday.
 - Initially, two men were arrested by the British Transport Police, one was released and one remains in custody on suspicion of attempted murder, while Anthony Williams, 32, faced charges.
 - Social media has been flooded with messages commending Mr Crean, including `Unbelievably brave`, while Shabana Mahmood said the government will consult on live facial recognition technology amid privacy and misidentification concerns.
