The malfunction of the Haringvlietbrug on the A29 motorway between Rotterdam and Bergen op Zoom is over, reports Rijkswaterstaat. The road was closed in both directions for several hours. The cause was a technical malfunction of the bridge, which meant that the bridge deck no longer came down. Around 13:30 the road was reopened to traffic in both directions and the advice for the diversion routes was ended.
