HarbourView Acquires Stake in Kelly Clarkson Catalog: ‘My Music Is Such a Huge Part of My Journey’
ESSEX COUNTY, NEW JERSEY, JUL 24 – HarbourView Equity Partners expands its portfolio with Kelly Clarkson's catalog, including five top 10 Billboard hits, aligning with its multi-platform investment approach.
- On Thursday, HarbourView Equity Partners, a firm based in Newark, NJ, acquired a stake in Kelly Clarkson's catalog.
- Last month, HarbourView Equity Partners raised $500 million, reflecting its multi-platform approach alongside Clarkson's seventh-season show renewal.
- Included in the stake are rights to `Since U Been Gone`, `Because of You`, `Stronger `, `Behind These Hazel Eyes` and `Underneath the Tree`, while financial terms and rights types remain undisclosed.
- Kelly Clarkson said, `My music is such a huge part of my journey`, while Sherrese Clarke called the transaction a significant milestone.
- As HarbourView nears 70 catalogs, the Clarkson deal is just the latest this year, and Clarkson will judge Season 29 of The Voice in spring 2026.
