Hamlet remembers lives lost 35 years after Imperial Foods fire

HAMLET — Thirty-five years after the Imperial Foods fire claimed 25 lives and injured 54 others, the city of Hamlet gathered Thursday morning to remember those who died, those who survived and the community forever changed by the tragedy.
