As in every year, maintenance and maintenance work at the runways at Hamburg Airport takes place again in 2025. These are necessary every year to ensure safe flight operation. Therefore, the runway 05/23 (Niendorf/Langenhorn) is closed for 14 days from 7 to 21 May 2025. During this time, all flights over Norderstedt and Alsterdorf start and land.

Hamburg Airport completes runway 05/23 from Wednesday to May 21. The airport provided annual maintenance services. All incoming and departing flights are routed via the alternative runway and thus via Norderstedt and Alsterdorf.
