Italy has arrested nine people, suspects of Hamas' funding, who will have turned aside funds for humanitarian support. In the Gaza Strip, tragedy is daily and worse.
The investigation into suspected supporters of the Islamist group Hamas in Italy is widening. Following the arrest of nine people on Saturday, a total of 25 individuals are now under investigation, Genoa police announced on Sunday. Seventeen house searches have been carried out. One leading figure is also believed to have maintained contacts in Austria.
