CC Sabathia and His Family Have a Bumpy Ride to Cooperstown
OTSEGO COUNTY, NEW YORK, JUL 25 – Turn Two fundraiser raised over $310,000 to support the Baseball Hall of Fame Museum’s education and diversity scholarship programs during Hall of Fame Weekend.
- On Friday, Joe Mauer, Hall of Famer, joined Ozzie Smith, 2002 Hall of Fame inductee, at Turn Two, supporting Hall of Fame Weekend 2025 at Doubleday Field.
- Ozzie Smith, Education Ambassador, said `Every year I try to bring different guys` to Turn Two, which raises funds for the Frank and Peggy Steele Internship Program for Youth Leadership Development.
- The Museum maintains extended Hall of Fame Weekend hours: Saturday 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Sunday 9 a.m.-9 p.m., with the Awards Presentation at 3 p.m. Saturday and the Class of 2025 induction at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
- Fans can follow Hall of Fame Weekend with #HOFWKND, while Members enjoy free admission, ride in trucks to a private Museum reception, and engage on social media.
- The Class of 2025 induction ceremony at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, at Clark Sports Center, will be broadcast live exclusively on MLB Network and via mlb.com webcast.
