The Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police has charged one person following a short pursuit. Bancroft OPP has charged a man from Quebec following a short police pursuit on Friday morning. Haliburton OPP informed Bancroft officers at 8 a.m. that a stolen vehicle was entering the area they were currently pursuing. A tire deflation device was deployed, bringing the vehicle to a stop.
