Half Of Transgender Inmates In Wisconsin Have Been Convicted Of Sex Crimes

According to data obtained by the Heritage Foundation's Oversight Project, half of the transgender female inmates in the Wisconsin prison system have been convicted of at least one count of sexual abuse or assault.
The data obtained from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections shows that out of 161 transgender inmates in female prisons, 81 had a record of sexual abuse as of July 21.
