Statkraft has outlined plans for the Tagdale Green Ammonia project on the Shetland Islands, after securing an option on land located about 3.5 km north-west of Lerwick. The project will include a hydrogen-to-green ammonia electrolytic conversion plant up to 80 MW adjacent to Tagdale Hill and has been shortlisted for funding in the second round of hydrogen allocation from the UK government, according to Statkraft.
