In Guinea, the government announced that 51 new parties were "certified suitable for regular political activity", including Sidya Touré's UFR, but were excluded from it by Cellou Dalein Diallo's UFDG, as well as the RPG of the fallen President Alpha Condé, who remained "suspended".
