QIn 2016 I planted a prairie-hardy valiant grape in a new bed backed by a fence in full south sun and trained it on wires over raspberries in the same bed. By 2020 its four branches had filled the 3.5 m width I planned for it and it bore 3.6 kg of intensely grape-y grapes. In late March 2021 I pruned it according to websites and videos online, cutting many branches back to two or three good buds.
