CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WOWK) — A new law went into effect on July 9 in West Virginia, and lawmakers intend to make it clear that the state has “zero tolerance” for child abuse. GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) - A Greenville man was given the maximum sentence Thursday for child abuse charges with severe injuries including a broken back. In January 2022, 30-year-old Jamarcus Tyrone Gregory was arrested after he assaulted a child and caused multiple injuries.
