Green light for project that would create shelters for victims of violence under public-private partnerships

The Senate approved Senate Bill 430, with a vote of 20 to 6, which aims to build, maintain, and operate shelters for victims of domestic violence on the island.

The governor of Córdoba, Erasmo Zuleta, revealed that the Casa Refugio of the department served 13 women victims of gender-based violence and their dependants during 2024, the first year of operation of this protection center.
